Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Yummy Bites account and the data stored with it at any time. There are two ways to do it.

1. Delete it yourself, in the app

This is immediate and needs nothing from us.

Your account and data are erased right away, and the app returns to a clean, signed-out state.

2. Ask us to delete it

If you no longer have the app installed, or you cannot sign in, email [email protected] from the email address on the account with the subject Delete my account.

We may ask one question to confirm the request comes from the account holder. We complete verified requests within 30 days, usually within a few working days, and email you once it is done.

What gets deleted

Everything tied to your account is erased from our live systems:

• your account and sign-in credentials (email address and password)
• your baby profiles — names, birth dates, avatars
• foods tried and liked, and your food notes
• allergen tracker history, reaction notes and introduction plans
• meal plans and the first-28-days plan
• onboarding answers, app preferences and notification settings
• your family sharing membership and invitations

If you created a family that other people are still in, the family itself is kept for them and ownership passes to the member who joined first. A family with nobody left in it is deleted with your account.

Copies in encrypted backups are overwritten as those backups roll over, within 30 days of the deletion.

What we have to keep

• Payment and invoice records for purchases you made — kept for the period required by tax and accounting law, and used for nothing else.
• Aggregated, anonymised usage statistics that can no longer be linked to you or your device.
